AAAEA Going West:

The Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects is a professional non-profit organization that was founded over 10 years ago in Chicago, Illinois to serve the needs and aspirations of Arab American Engineers and Architects.

Today, after it established roots in the Midwest, Northeast and the South with 10 chapters and over 400 members is making its debut on the West Coast.

We are calling for a general assembly for all Arab American Engineers here at Los Angeles County Department of Public Works in effort to be the first chapter in California and Los Angeles County.

An overview presentation will be given about this fine organization during lunch break by Mr Sami Wassef from the City of Los Angeles and AAAEA Ad Hoc Committee member. People who are interested are welcome to bring their lunch and join us for the presentation. Our Department always prided itself as a leader and the flag carrier of diversity. A support for a professional organization such as AAAEA will add strength to that claim and bring vast outside expertise to our Department through networking with other national chapters.

We are looking forward to see you there.
