AAAEA will be participating and supporting IDOT Career Day - Chicago 2009 - "Promoting Transportation Careers to America's Youth"

 AAAEA accepted an invitation from the Illinois Department of Transportation to become an Exhibitor for Career Day Chicago 2009.  This will be IDOT first Career Day event held in the Chicagoland area, and will be located at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center on April 1, 2009.            

 The purpose of this event to is to introduce over 600 Chicago Public High School students; our future generation of Engineers, Designers and Trades people, to the Transportation/Engineering industry. This is not a job fair or recruiting event; just an opportunity for AAAEA to showcase the great work of our organization.  We like to provide hands-on interactive activities for the students. We encourage all our members to help us make this event a success.  Please Join me on Wednesday morning to show what AAAEA has done for our members.
